APPROVED FOR CALENDARING PREVIOUS COMMITTEE ACTION  HB 117 - See Finance Report dated 3/14/01. ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 01-3, SIDE A  Number 001 CHAIRWOMAN DRUE PEARCE called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order at 10:55 a.m. Present were Senators Therriault, Cowdery, Phillips and Pearce. CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE announced that SJR 14, sponsored by Senator Taylor, was before the committee and that Senator Taylor was available to answer questions. There being no questions, SENATOR THERRIAULT moved to calendar SJR 14-OPPOSE CANADIAN FEE TO TRANSPORT FIREARMS. There being no objection, the motion carried. CHAIRWOMAN PEARCE informed the committee that it would hear SB 93 and possibly Senator Wilken's bill the following day. She then adjourned the meeting.
