APPROVED SJR 6 FOR CALENDARING SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 8 Relating to supporting polling places at military installations and reserve component facilities. ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 01-1, SIDE A  Number 001 CHAIRMAN DRUE PEARCE called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order at 11:05 a.m. Present were Senators Phillips, Cowdery, Therriault and Pearce. Senator Ellis arrived while the meeting was in progress. SENATOR PHILLIPS moved to calendar SB 9 - BOARD OF  ARCHITECTS,ENGINEERS,LAND SURV. ETC. There being no objection, the motion carried. SENATOR COWDERY moved to calendar SJR 6-EDUCATION BLOCK GRANTS. There being no objection, the motion carried. SENATOR PHILLIPS moved to calendar SJR 8-VOTING SITES AT MILITARY  INSTALLATIONS. There being no objection, the motion carried. CHAIR PEARCE announced that she will not be in Juneau for the remainder of the week so Vice-Chair Cowdery will chair any meetings that occur during that time. There being no further business to come before the committee, CHAIR PEARCE adjourned the meeting at 11:07 a.m.
