ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 00-07, SIDE A CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order at 12:02 p.m. Present were Senators Leman, Pearce, Ellis and Chairman Tim Kelly. SENATOR ELLIS moved to calendar all versions of SB 34-TATTOOS AND BODY PIERCING with individual recommendations and accompanying fiscal notes at the Chairman's discretion. There being no objection, the motion carried. SENATOR LEMAN moved to calendar CSHB 190 (JUD)-VIATICAL SETTLEMENTS with individual recommendations and accompanying fiscal notes. There being no objection, the motion carried. SENATOR PEARCE moved to calendar SB 291-TED STEVENS ANCHORAGE INT'L AIRPORT with individual recommendations and accompanying fiscal notes. SENATOR LEMAN objected and stated that he believes the Legislature should establish a policy about naming facilities after living politicians. He then removed his objection. There being no further objection, CHAIRMAN KELLY announced that the motion to calendar SB 291 carried. There being no further business to come before the committee, CHAIRMAN KELLY adjourned the meeting at 12:04 p.m.
