ACTION NARRATIVE TAPE 98-1, SIDE A CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order at 11:33 a.m., and the noted the presence of Senators Leman, Duncan and Kelly. CHAIRMAN KELLY brought SCR 21 - SOBRIETY AWARENESS MONTH before the committee. There being no discussion, he requested a calendaring motion on the legislation. SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent SCR 21 be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. CHAIRMAN KELLY brought HCR 19 - COUNCIL OF DEAF/HARD OF HEARING/DEAF/BLIN before the committee. There being no discussion, he requested a calendaring motion on the legislation. SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent HCR 19 be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
