SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent SB 157 be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. CHAIRMAN KELLY brought SB 209 - TASK FORCE ON PRIVATIZATION before the committee. SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent SB 209 be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. CHAIRMAN KELLY brought SB 220 - APPROP: AK PERMANENT FUND CORP. before the committee. SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent SB 220 be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. CHAIRMAN KELLY brought CSHB 265(STA) am - REPORTS & RECORDS OF & TO STATE AGENCIES before the committee and directed attention to a proposed Rules SCS. SENATOR LEMAN moved the adoption of SCS CSHB 265(RLS) for discussion purposes. There being no objection, SCS CSHB 265(RLS) was adopted. JOHN MANLY, staff to Representative Martin, the prime sponsor of HB 265, explained that the primary reason for the proposed Rules SCS is because the current version of the bill does not reflect current law, i.e. the laws that were changed by other legislation last year near the end of the legislative session. CHAIRMAN KELLY requested a calendaring motion on the legislation, adding that the bill would not be scheduled for floor action until the following week or so in order to make sure there are no concerns with the changes made in the Rules SCS. SENATOR LEMAN moved and asked unanimous consent SCS CSHB 265(RLS) be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
