SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 9 Urging the United States Congress to pass legislation to open the coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska, to oil and gas exploration, development, and production. SENATOR TAYLOR moved SJR 8 be approved for calendaring. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered. VICE CHAIRMAN LEMAN brought SJR 9 (ENDORSING ANWR LEASING) before the committee.
