Senator Pearce arrived shortly thereafter. SUMMARY INFORMATION Co-chair Sharp convened the session. SENATE BILL NO. 107 "An Act making and amending capital and other appropriations and to capitalize funds; and providing for an effective date." Senator Torgerson moved CSSB 107(FIN) "B" version for working purposes. Senator Adams objected. He said unemployment in rural Alaska was missing and the public had not had time to see everything outlined in the version. Co- chair Sharp called for the roll to be taken and by a vote of 6 - 1 (Adams) CSSB 107(FIN) "B" version was adopted for working purposes. Senator Adams then moved amendment "0" which failed by a vote of 1 - 6 (Sharp, Pearce, Donley, Torgerson, Parnell, Phillips). TECH FRONT #1 moved by Senator Torgerson was adopted without objection.
