hearing were Representatives Hudson, Ogan, Green (via                          
teleconference) and Dyson.

Commissioner John Shively, Department of Natural Resources; Craig

Department of Law; and Molly McCammon, Executive Director, Exxon               
Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council                                               
                                                                               
SUMMARY OF INFORMATION                                                         
                                                                               
Molly McCammon, Executive Director, Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee             
Council, gave an overview of the oil spill, resulting litigation               
and settlement, and creation of the council.                                   
                                                                               
John Shively, Commissioner, Department of Natural Resources, gave              
an overview of the department's role in land management in the                 
effected areas.                                                                
                                                                               
Frank Rue, Commissioner, Department of Fish and Game, responded to             
questions pertaining to the council.
