For the regular meeting, see the 3:25 p.m. minutes for this date, tape 04-12.] TAPES  04-13, SIDE(S) A CHAIR VIC KOHRING called the meeting of the House Special Committee on Oil and Gas back to order at 3:35 p.m. Present were Representatives Kohring, Holm, Rokeberg, McGuire, Crawford, and Kerttula. SUMMARY OF INFORMATION  LINDSEY DINGMORE, Government Affairs, XTO Energy, Inc., assisted with a slide presentation, answered questions, and invited the committee to tour the Cook Inlet oil rigs in the summer. KYLE HAMMOND, Vice President, XTO Energy, Inc., assisted with the presentation, giving a perspective of the company's history and future goals in Cook Inlet. In Alaska since 1998, the company started out small, he said, but has seen a dramatic growth in 2004. CHAIR KOHRING asked if there was any legislation, either pending or possible in the future, that could help the industry. MR. HAMMOND suggested investing more capital in the oil and gas industry. ANNOUNCEMENTS  There were no announcements. COMMITTEE ACTION  The committee took no action. ADJOURNMENT  The House Special Committee on Oil and Gas took a brief at-ease before returning to the regular meeting.
