  JOE LEONE, Vice President of Kuparuk for ARCO Alaska, Inc.,                                                                   
  presented information to the committee regarding the effect of                                                                
  low oil prices on operations, goals and plans for the company,                                                                
  and answered questions from committee members.                                                                                
                                                                                                                                
  GERALD GALLAGHER, Government Relations Manager for ARCO                                                                       
  Alaska, answered questions from the committee.                                                                                
                                                                                                                                
  GEORGE FINDLING, ARCO Alaska, answered questions from the                                                                     
  committee regarding ARCO's role in the Alaska North Slope LNG                                                                 
  project.  Mr. Findling noted he would be available to answer                                                                  
  questions on this topic during the Oil and Gas meeting                                                                        
  scheduled for February 23, 1999.
