Representatives Anderson, LeDoux, Lynn, Rokeberg, Crawford, and Guttenberg were present at the call to order. ^CONFIRMATION HEARING(S) CHAIR ANDERSON reminded the committee that last week members were provided with copies of the applications and resumes for the latest group of appointments from the administration. Due to the lack of any requests to [speak] with the appointees, Chair Anderson interpreted that to mean no one objected to forwarding the names to the joint session of the House and Senate. Therefore, he announced that the confirmation committee report would be circulated for members' signatures. He reminded the committee that the signature on the report doesn't reflect the intent to vote in support or opposition to an appointee during the joint floor session. ^Alcoholic Beverage Control Board 3:37:27 PM CHAIR ANDERSON announced that the committee would consider the appointments of Michael Gordon and William Tull to the Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Board. REPRESENTATIVE ROKEBERG related his strong support for Mr. Gordon, who is a friend and has also been the chair of the ABC Board. REPRESENTATIVE ROKEBERG moved that the committee advance the names of Michael Gordon and William Tull to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to the joint session of the House and Senate for confirmation. There being no objection, the aforementioned names were advanced from the House Labor and Commerce Standing Committee. ^Board of Dental Examiners CHAIR ANDERSON announced that the committee would now consider the appointments of Dr. William Gerace, Mr. Greg Gursey, Ms. Vickie Hauff, and Dr. Rebecca Neslund to the Board of Dental Examiners. REPRESENTATIVE LEDOUX commented that Dr. Neslund, one of her constituents, will do a great job in this position. REPRESENTATIVE LEDOUX moved that the committee advance the aforementioned names to the Board of Dental Examiners to the joint session of the House and Senate for confirmation. There being no objection, the names of Dr. William Gerace, Greg Gursey, Vickie Hauff, and Dr. Rebecca Neslund were advanced from the House Labor and Commerce Standing Committee. ^Board of Marine Pilots 3:39:25 PM CHAIR ANDERSON announced that the committee would consider the appointment of Dale Collins to the Board of Marine Pilots. Chair Anderson opined that Mr. Collins has done an exceptional job with the Board of Marine Pilots. REPRESENTATIVE LYNN moved that the committee advance the name of Dale Collins to the Board of Marine Pilots to the joint session of the House and Senate for confirmation. There being no objection, the aforementioned name was advanced from the House Labor and Commerce Standing Committee. ^Board of Pharmacy CHAIR ANDERSON announced that the committee would now consider the appointments of Mary Mundell and Leona Oberts to the Board of Pharmacy. REPRESENTATIVE LYNN moved that the committee advance the names of Mary Mundell and Leona Oberts to the Board of Pharmacy to the joint session of the House and Senate for confirmation. There being no objection, the aforementioned names were advanced from the House Labor and Commerce Standing Committee. ^State Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Board CHAIR ANDERSON announced that the committee would now consider the appointments to the State Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Board. 3:40:29 PM REPRESENTATIVE LEDOUX moved that the committee advance the names of JoAnne Boehme, Gary Burleson, Alec Kay, and Jay McDiarmid to the State Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Board. There being no objection, the aforementioned names were advanced from the House Labor and Commerce Standing Committee. ^Board of Professional Counselors CHAIR ANDERSON announced that the committee would consider the appointments of James Morton, Tashawna Olson, and Dr. Kerry Turnbow to the Board of Professional Counselors. REPRESENTATIVE ROKEBERG moved that the committee advance the aforementioned names to the Board of Professional Counselors to the joint session of the House and Senate for confirmation. There being no objection, the names of James Morton, Tashawna Olson, and Dr. Kerry Turnbow was advanced from the House Labor and Commerce Standing Committee. ^Real Estate Commission CHAIR ANDERSON announced that the committee would now consider the appointment of Gene DuVal and Roger Stone to the Real Estate Commission. 3:41:26 PM REPRESENTATIVE LYNN moved that the committee advance the aforementioned names to the Real Estate Commission to the joint session of the House and Senate for confirmation.
