Representative Anderson arrived as the meeting was in progress. SUMMARY OF INFORMATION  JUAN MELENDEZ, a former death row inmate, presented his experiences while sitting on death row, provided a brief history of how he came to be there and how he came to be exonerated, and responded to questions. ANNOUNCEMENTS  There were no announcements. COMMITTEE ACTION  The committee took no action. ADJOURNMENT  The House Judiciary Standing Committee took an at-ease at 1:50 p.m. in order to prepare for the regular meeting.
