ALASKA STATE LEGISLATURE  HOUSE SPECIAL COMMITTEE ON FISHERIES  April 23, 2001 6:45 p.m. COMMITTEE CALENDAR    OVERVIEW OF THE YUKON RIVER SALMON AGREEMENT TAPES  01-20, SIDE A CALL TO ORDER    REPRESENTATIVE GARY STEVENS, Co-Chair, reconvened the House Special Committee on Fisheries meeting at 6:45 p.m. [The minutes for the Confirmation Hearings are found in the 5:12 p.m. minutes for the same date.]   PRESENT Committee members present were Representatives Stevens, Wilson, Scalzi, Dyson, Coghill, and Kerttula.   SUMMARY OF INFORMATION    MARY PETE, Director, Division of Subsistence, Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), discussed the recent Yukon River Salmon Agreement that was adopted and signed on March 29, 2001. She explained the various aspects of the agreement and responded to questions asked by committee members. COMMITTEE ACTION  The committee took no action.   ANNOUNCEMENTS This will be the last House Special Committee on Fisheries meeting for this session.
