TRITES OF THE NORTH PACIFIC MARINE MAMMAL RESEARCH FOUNDATION TAPE(S) 98-8, SIDE(S) A CALL TO ORDER Representative Austerman, Chairman, convened the House Special Committee on Fisheries meeting at 5:03 p.m. PRESENT Committee members present at the call to order were Representatives Austerman, Ivan and Hodgins. SUMMARY OF INFORMATION ANDREW W. TRITES, Ph.D., Research Coordinator, Fisheries Centre, University of British Columbia, representing the Marine Mammal Research Foundation, testified with a slide show on Stellar sea lion research findings. He described come cycle correlations between sea lions and other marine life. He also provided information on sea lion diets, nutrition and related growth patterns.
