SB 263 EXTEND BOARD OF PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS SB 263 was REPORTED out of Committee with a "do pass" recommendation and with attached previously published fiscal note: FN1 (CED). SENATE BILL NO. 262 "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Social Work Examiners; and providing for an effective date." 3:12:48 PM PAT DAVIDSON, LEGISLATIVE AUDITOR, LEGISLATIVE AUDIT DIVISION, LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS AGENCY, explained that the agency has conducted a sunset audit in accordance with statute and recommends the extension of the board until June 30, 2018. Co-Chair Hawker queried the fiscal note. Ms. Davidson replied that the fiscal note was appropriate. Vice-Chair Thomas MOVED to report SB 262 out of Committee with individual recommendations and the accompanying fiscal note. There being NO OBJECTION, it was so ordered. SB 262 was REPORTED out of Committee with a "do pass" recommendation and with attached previously published fiscal note: FN1 (CED). SENATE BILL NO. 263 "An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Professional Counselors; and providing for an effective date." 3:14:31 PM PAT DAVIDSON, LEGISLATIVE AUDITOR, LEGISLATIVE AUDIT DIVISION, LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS AGENCY, explained that the agency has conducted a sunset audit in accordance with statute and recommends the extension of the board until June 30, 2018. Co-Chair Hawker highlighted the fiscal note for $50,900 for operating expenses for receipt-supported services.
