SUMMARY OF INFORMATION MYRON NANENG, President, Association of Village Council Presidents, P.O. Box 219, Bethel, Alaska 99559, presented his views on tribal/state relationships and offered suggestions on how the state can support local governments. BRUCE BOTELHO, Attorney General, Department of Law, P.O. Box 110300, Juneau, Alaska 99811, commented on the need to resolve subsistence, Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act (ANILCA), role of tribal courts in Alaska, Indian Child Welfare Act and Title 29 in relation to rural governments.
