Johnson, and Carpenter and Senators Bishop, Wielechowski, Kaufman, Kawasaki, and Stedman were present at the call to order. ^APPROVAL OF MINUTES APPROVAL OF MINUTES    9:06:06 AM CHAIR CARPENTER announced the first order of business would be the approval of minutes. He then explained that since not all members had viewed the minutes of 12/13/23, approval of those minutes would be postponed to the next meeting of the Legislative Budget and Audit Committee. ^EXECUTIVE SESSION EXECUTIVE SESSION    9:06:18 AM CHAIR CARPETNER announced that the next order of business would be executive session. 9:06:28 AM SENATOR STEDMAN moved and asked unanimous consent that the Legislative Budget and Audit Committee go into executive session under Uniform Rule 22(b)(3) for the discussion of matters that may, by law, be required to be confidential. He asked that the following persons remain in the room or online: the legislative auditor and necessary staff to the auditor; any legislators not on the committee; staff for legislators who are members of the committee; and House Finance staff Helen Phillips, Reed Gardinier, Bree Wylie, and Leah Frasier. There being no objection, it was so ordered. 9:08:10 AM The committee took an at-ease from 9:08 a.m. to 10:36 a.m. for the purpose of executive session. Johnson, and Carpenter and Senators Bishop, Wielechowski, Kaufman, Kawasaki, and Stedman. ^FINAL AUDIT RELEASES FINAL AUDIT RELEASES  10:37:45 AM CHAIR CARPENTER announced the final order of business would be final audit releases. 10:37:57 AM SENATOR STEDMAN moved that the Legislative Budget and Audit Committee release the final public audit reports: the Department of Health, Alaska Commission on Aging, sunset; the Department of Commerce, Community & Economic Development, Marijuana Control Board, sunset; the Department of Commerce, Community & Economic Development, Board of Massage Therapists, sunset; the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Technical Vocational Education Program; and the Department of Family and Community Services, Office of Childrens' Services Compliance with Foster Care Reform Laws, part two.
