She stated that the purpose of the meeting would be to discuss the costs incurred to date associated with the ongoing investigation pertaining to the abrupt termination of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Angela Rodell. She stated that the initial amount of $100,000 had been an estimate and the contracted firm has conducted interviews with over a dozen people and has incurred costs associated with travel, preparation, and transcription. She stated that, as of August 4, 2022, the total costs to date amount to $106,000 and the work in nearing completion. She referenced a memorandum [included in the committee packet, entitled "8-9-22 Schwabe Memorandum to LBA re Budget.pdf,"] that reflects expenses in the amount of $5,398. She added that the projected total will include an additional $40,000 - $50,000 for work to be completed and a report has been requested to be submitted to the committee by mid-October [2022].
