CHAIR  WIELECHOWSKI  announced  that  the next  bill  before  the                                                               
committee would  be HB 271,  which would  change the way  the DMV                                                               
classifies commercial  motor vehicles.  It is the  second hearing                                                               
on the bill. The bill has a zero fiscal note.                                                                                   
                                                                                                                                
JIM POUND,  Staff, Representative  Wes Keller, offered  to answer                                                               
questions regarding HB 271 on behalf of the sponsor.                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
CHAIR WIELECHOWSKI  said HB 271  was good common sense  and would                                                               
help small businesses.                                                                                                          
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR  PASKVAN  moved to  report  HB  271, version  {D.A}  from                                                               
committee with  individual recommendations and the  attached zero                                                               
fiscal note. There being no  objection, CSHB 271(TRA)am was moved                                                               
from the Senate State Affairs Standing Committee.
