CHAIR MCGUIRE  announced the  consideration of  SB 296.  She said                                                               
when  it was  heard  last  there was  a  recommendation for  more                                                               
direction to  the Violent Crimes Compensation  Board for pursuing                                                               
payments, so a letter of intent was drafted.                                                                                    
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR BUNDE  moved to  adopt the letter  of intent.  Hearing no
