The committee took up HB 397-EXEMPTIONS FROM DRIVER'S LICENSING.                                                            
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR ELLIS  noted that Chairman  Phillips' announcement  on the                                                              
Senate floor did not include HB 397.                                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS said his earlier announcement did.                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR ELLIS said  he would have preferred that  the Chairman had                                                              
announced the specific  items to be dealt with so  that the public                                                              
could stay informed.                                                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS announced that he would hold HB 397 until the                                                                 
following day.
