CHAIRMAN  PHILLIPS announced  that Senator  Donley, sponsor  of SB                                                              
347, had a proposed amendment to SB 347-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE TAX.                                                             
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR  DAVE DONLEY  explained that  the  amendment tightens  the                                                              
title to include specific reference to Section 1 of the bill.                                                                   
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR HALFORD moved to adopt the amendment.                                                                                   
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRMAN  PHILLIPS announced  that with  no objection, the  motion                                                              
carried.                                                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR HALFORD  moved and  asked unanimous  consent that  SB 347-                                                          
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE TAX as amended  be calendared at the Chairman's                                                          
discretion.                                                                                                                     
                                                                                                                                
CHAIRMAN PHILLIPS announced that  with no objection, CSSB 347(RLS)                                                              
would be calendared.
