CHAIRMAN MILLER brought  CSHB 198(STA)  (ALLOWABLE ABSENCES FOR PERM          
 FUND DIVIDEND) before the committee.  Hearing no discussion, he               
 asked for the pleasure of the committee.                                      
                                                                               
 SENATOR SHARP moved and asked unanimous consent CSHB 198(STA) be              
 approved for calendaring.  Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.           
                                                                               
 SENATOR PEARCE requested the committee rescind its action on CSHB             
 198(STA).  She pointed out that the bill makes more people eligible           
 for permanent fund dividends, but it carries a zero fiscal note and           
 she wants to see if the Senate Finance Committee would like to take           
 a look at it.                                                                 
                                                                               
 SENATOR PEARCE moved the committee rescind its action in approving
