SENATOR JACKO outlined the committee agenda, noting that HB 283, HB 284 and HCR 20 would require a rescinding motion. The three pieces of legislation were approved for calendaring by the committee on April 29, 1993. However, because the Rules Committee was the only committee of referral for HB 283 and HB 284 and HCR 20 was waived by the Health, Education & Social Services Committee, the three measures will require substantiative hearings before being approved for calendaring. SENATOR HALFORD moved and asked unanimous consent that the Rules Committee rescind its previous action in approving for calendaring the following bills: HB 283 (BOARD OF ARCH/ENGINEERS/SURVEYORS EXT.) HB 284 (PHYSICAL/OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY BOARDS EXT.) HCR 20 (MILITARY SCHOOL TASK FORCE) Hearing no objection, the Chair stated the motion had carried.
