HJR 15-SUPPORT AMERICAN LAND SOVEREIGNTY ACT VICE CHAIRMAN TAYLOR called the Senate Resources Committee meeting to order at 3:10 p.m. and announced HJR 15 to be up for consideration. MS. MYRNA MCGHIE, Staff to Representative James, sponsor of HJR 15, said it supports Congressman Young's resolution to confirm that Congress approve any land designations to the World Heritage Sites and Biosphere Reserve. SENATOR KELLY asked what was the status of Congressman Young's bill. MS. MCGHIE answered that it was just introduced on the floor a couple of weeks ago and didn't know if it was in committee yet. This is a second try for it. Last year it went through Congress, but there wasn't time to get it through the Senate side. SENATOR GREEN moved to pass HJR 15 from committee with individual recommendations and zero fiscal notes. There were no objections and it was so ordered.
