CHAIRMAN MILLER called the Resources Committee meeting to order at 3:40 p.m. and announced SB 355 (ADJUSTMENTS FOR DEFECTIVE SURVEY) to be up for consideration. SENATOR RIEGER addresses a problem noticed by the Municipal Assembly in Anchorage. SB 355 allows a different method for courts to clear up extremely defective surveys and he suggested two amendments. The first amendment says to fix the lines to the extent practicable. The second amendment is a grandfather clause for approved uses when a subsequent court order replat comes in. Number 142 SENATOR LEMAN moved to adopt amendment 1 to SB 355. There were no objections and it was adopted. SENATOR LEMAN moved to adopt amendment 2 to SB 355. There were no objections and it was adopted. SENATOR LEMAN moved to adopt amendment 3, to insert on page 5, line 10, a period after the word "subdivision" and delete the rest of the sentence. There were no objections and it was adopted. SENATOR LEMAN moved to pass CSSB 355(RES) from committee with individual recommendations. There were no objections and it was so ordered.
