SENATOR  LEMAN called the  Special Committee on  Oil and Gas                 
  meeting to order at 5:15 p.m. and announced HCR 19 ENCOURAGE                 
  SALE OF STATE ROYALTY GAS to be up for consideration.                        
                                                                               
  JUDY JORDAN,  Staff for  Representative Gail Phillips,  said                 
  this legislation is  an opportunity  for the legislature  to                 
  reaffirm  our positive support  for the sale  of the state's                 
  North  Slope  royalty gas  which  would add  several hundred                 
  million dollars to the state's annual revenues.                              
                                                                               
  SENATOR  SALO moved  to  pass  HCR  19 from  committee  with                 
  individual recommendations.  There were no objections and it                 
  was so ordered.
