CHAIR  FRENCH  announced  the consideration  of  HB  36.  [CSSSHB                                                               
36(FIN)  AM  was  before  the  committee.]  The  bill  was  heard

SENATOR WIELECHOWSKI joined the committee.                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
CHAIR FRENCH  asked for  a motion to  adopt \T  version committee                                                               
substitute (CS) as the working document.                                                                                        
                                                                                                                                
SENATOR WIELECHOWSKI moved to adopt SCS  for CS for SS for HB 36,                                                               
labeled  26-LS0197\T  as the  working  document.  There being  no                                                               
objection, version T was before the committee.                                                                                  
                                                                                                                                
CHAIR  FRENCH  summarized that  the  SCS  incorporates the  three                                                               
small changes that  were made at the previous  hearing. It allows                                                               
the presiding officers  to select the standing  committee to hear                                                               
the bill if  necessary during the session; it  clarifies that the                                                               
lieutenant  governor  can  stream  the public  hearings;  and  it                                                               
changes the word "review" to "hearing."

for   HB   36(JUD),   \T,    from   committee   with   individual                                                               
recommendations  and  attached  fiscal note(s).  There  being  no                                                               
objection,  SCS CSSSHB  36(JUD) moved  from the  Senate Judiciary                                                               
Standing Committee.
