Chair Wilson  announced the  consideration of  CS FOR  HOUSE BILL                                                               
NO. 133(L&C) "An  Act relating to the Alaska  savings program for                                                               
eligible  individuals; relating  to  education savings  programs;                                                               
relating  to  the Education  Trust  of  Alaska; relating  to  the                                                               
Alaska  advance college  tuition  savings fund;  relating to  the                                                               
Alaska education  savings program  for children; and  relating to

Alaska, sponsor of HB 133, thanked members for hearing HB 133.

SENATOR  HUGHES  stated   she  suggested  Representative  Field's                                                               
office work with the federal delegation and asked for an update.                                                                
                                                                                                                                
REPRESENTATIVE FIELDS  thanked Senator Hughes and  Senator Begich                                                               
for collaborating  on the letter  sent to the  delegation stating                                                               
the  bill  was  moving  from  committee  and,  if  passed,  would                                                               
automatically update  the age threshold dependent  on the federal
