HOUSE BILL NO. 52 "An Act authorizing psychological counseling for jurors serving in criminal trials who are traumatized by graphic evidence or testimony." Co-Chair Stedman said it was the second hearing on the bill. He noted one fiscal note for $15,000 in general funds. The bill would allow for up to ten hours of counseling for a juror who experiences a trial that is excessively graphic, gruesome, or has emotional testimony or evidence.
