HB 327: An Act extending the termination date of the Board of Veterinary Examiners; and providing for an effective date. BENJAMIN BROWN said that HB 327 simply extended the Board of Veterinary Examiners for four years and made no other changes to their statutory authority or composition other than extending their life span to 1997. SENATOR RIEGER said he had heard no complaints regarding this Board. Senator Kerttula remarked that individuals practiced veterinary services long before they were licensed by the state. SENATOR KERTTULA MOVED for passage of the corrected version of HB 327 from committee with individual recommendations. HB 327 was REPORTED OUT of committee with a "do pass," and a zero fiscal note from the Department of Commerce & Economic Development.
