CHAIR CARPENTER announced that the  first order of business would                                                               
be HOUSE BILL  NO. 109 "An Act reducing the  corporate net income                                                               
tax  rate; and  providing for  an effective  date."   [Before the                                                               
committee,  adopted as  a working  document on  4/12/23, was  the                                                               
proposed  committee  substitute  (CS)  for HB  109,  Version  33-

REPRESENTATIVE MCCABE  moved to  adopt the original  bill version                                                               
for  HB 109.  There being  no  objection, once  again before  the
