SJR 20: DISAPPROVE PALMER BOUNDARY CHANGES Number 260 REPRESENTATIVE ULMER asked the committee to rescind its previous action on SJR 20 and reconsider passing the resolution from committee. Number 271 CHAIRMAN VEZEY RULED the MOTION OUT OF ORDER, saying SJR 20 was not on the committee agenda. Number 274 REPRESENTATIVE ULMER noted reconsideration motions are never placed on an agenda, and asked Chairman Vezey to reconsider his ruling. Number 284 CHAIRMAN VEZEY RULED the MOTION OUT OF ORDER and polled the teleconference sites for public testimony on bills before the committee. Number 300 STEVE VANCLEVE testified by teleconference from Mat-Su and reaffirmed his support for SJR 20. He noted his disappointment in the committee's failure to move the resolution. Number 316 DON HART testified by teleconference from Mat-Su and questioned why members of the committee left the room prior to the last vote on SJR 20, and expressed his anger on the result. He asked the committee to reconsider its action of March 4, 1993. Number 345 RHONDA MARCY testified by teleconference from Mat-Su and expressed her disappointment SJR 20 had not passed from committee. She asked for reconsideration of the March 4, 1993, committee vote. Number 370 DAN DRYDEN testified by teleconference from Mat-Su, and told the committee he was surprised by the absence of two members when the March 4, 1993 vote was taken, especially when he asked if all members were present when he spoke on the issue. Number 390 CHAIRMAN VEZEY polled all the other teleconference sites to see if anyone else wanted to testify. No one did.
