SB 147-SPORT FISH FACILITY BONDS/SURCHARGES                                                                                   
                                                                                                                                
CHAIR ROKEBERG  announced that the  only order of  business would                                                               
be  CS FOR  SENATE BILL  NO. 147(FIN),  "An Act  providing for  a                                                               
sport  fishing  facility  surcharge on  sport  fishing  licenses;                                                               
providing  for the  construction  and renovation  of state  sport                                                               
fishing  facilities  and for  other  projects  beneficial to  the                                                               
sport fish  resources of  the state as  a public  enterprise; and                                                               
authorizing  the  issuance  of  revenue bonds  to  finance  those

JIM  DERRINGER, Staff  to Representative  Jim Holm,  Alaska State                                                               
Legislature,  informed  the  committee  that  the  House  Finance                                                               
Committee overlooked increasing the  small game and sport fishing                                                               
license fee  for special nonresident  military [personnel].   The                                                               
aforementioned  change will  result  in a  slight  change to  the                                                               
fiscal note, an increase of about $1,200.

amended, to  the House Rules  Standing Committee  with individual                                                               
recommendations  and  the  accompanying  and  forthcoming  fiscal                                                               
notes.  There being no  objection, HCS CSSB 147(RLS) was returned                                                               
to the House Rules Standing Committee.
