SB 115 - DISCLOSURE OF SALMON PRICES Number 058 CHAIRMAN KOTT announced the only business was Senate Bill No. 115, "An Act repealing certain requirements relating to posting and reporting of prices paid for salmon." He called on David Gray to present the sponsor statement. DAVID GRAY, Legislative Assistant to Senator Jerry Mackie, stated: "This is a bill that was requested by commercial fishermen on a piece of legislation that doesn't work. It repeals the posting of fish prices." He noted that a similar bill, supported on both sides, was introduced by Representative Ivan. REPRESENTATIVE AL VEZEY said he prefers Representative Ivan's bill. Number 120 REPRESENTATIVE BILL WILLIAMS made a motion to move SB 115 with individual recommendations. CHAIRMAN KOTT noted that it has a zero fiscal note. There being no objection, SB 115 moved from the House Rules Standing Committee.
