HL&C - 02/22/95 HB 164 - ESTABLISH PEARL HARBOR DAY CO-CHAIRMAN PETE KOTT said a quorum was present. He stated that a resolution dealing with Pearl Harbor Day was passed from committee a few weeks ago, and is currently in the Senate. He continued that Representative Richard Foster had made a motion to embed this same concept into a bill that would ask that the Governor proclaim December 7th, as a commemorative day. Number 033 REPRESENTATIVE RICHARD FOSTER pointed out that this topic had been discussed in detail. He made a motion to move HB 164 out of the House Labor and Commerce Committee. CO-CHAIRMAN KOTT concurred that they had discussed the bill in detail. He asked if there was an objection to move HB 164 from committee, with accompanying fiscal notes. Hearing none, HB 164 was moved from committee.
