Number 065 CHAIRMAN HUDSON brought up SB 64. SB 64 - IMMUNITY FOR SAFETY INSPECTIONS Number 075 REP. GREEN asked for an update on SB 64 and HB 241. Number 090 REP. MULDER explained to the committee that he had been encouraging all sides to this issue to come to some compromise to no avail. Rep. Mulder felt that passage of SB 64 would only advance one side of the issue and further endanger any hopes of successful negotiations of the ad hoc task force on worker's compensation reform. REP. MULDER contended that if SB 64 were to pass, labor would never participate again and that would not be good public policy.
