She explained that the legislation extended the termination date for the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (ABC) through June 30, 2018. She informed the committee that the fiscal note (new FN (CED) included the estimated costs of regulating marijuana due to a stipulation in the voter initiative that legalized marijuana and tasked the board with regulation. However, if HB 123 (Establish Marijuana Control Board) was subsequently adopted the funding for regulating marijuana will be removed from the fiscal note.
