Representative Kohring noted that he philosophically opposed the legislation. He commented that state government should not be in the business of subsidizing village activity. Representative Kohring suggested that there are alternative ways to assist people in economic distress. A roll call vote was taken on the motion. IN FAVOR: J. Davies, G. Davis, Foster, Grussendorf, Kelly, Moses, Hanley, Therriault OPPOSED: Kohring, Martin Representative Mulder was not present for the vote. The MOTION PASSED (8-2).
