CHAIR   KAWASAKI  reconvened   the  meeting   and  announced   the                                                              
consideration of  SENATE BILL NO. 159 "An Act  establishing Alaska

SENATOR  FORREST DUNBAR,  District  J, Alaska  State  Legislature,                                                              
Juneau,  Alaska,  said SB  159  provides  an opportunity  for  the                                                              
legislature  and  the  people of  Alaska  to  acknowledge  service                                                              
members  who  have sacrificed  their  lives  for this  country  by                                                              
designating  the Friday  before  Memorial Day  as Veterans'  Poppy
