CHAIR CLAMAN announced  that the only order of  business would be                                                               
SENATE  BILL NO.  122,  "An  Act relating  to  the definition  of

SENATOR  LORA  REINBOLD,  Alaska   State  Legislature,  as  prime                                                               
sponsor, presented  SB 122.   She explained  that her  office had                                                               
reached  out to  the Office  of Victims'  Rights and  had learned                                                               
that a defense  attorney [successfully] argued in  court that two                                                               
teenagers  were  not victims  of  the  crime during  which  their                                                               
mother had  been slain by her  husband and that the  children had                                                               
been denied [court] proceedings.

CHAIR CLAMAN opened public testimony on SB 122.  After                                                                          
ascertaining that no one wished to testify, he closed public                                                                    
testimony.
