CHAIR CLAMAN said this is the second hearing of SB 78 in the Senate Judiciary Committee. He provided a brief history of the bill, noting that it passed the House several years ago. He described SB 78 as a common-sense measure intended to save individuals time when seeking employment and to provide protections once hired.
