CHAIR STUTES announced that the  first order of business would be                                                               
HOUSE  BILL   NO.  253,  "An   Act  relating  to   the  fisheries                                                               
enhancement loan program; and providing for an effective date."                                                                 
                                                                                                                                
CHAIR  STUTES noted  that the  committee was  prepared to  hear a                                                               
committee substitute  (CS) for  HB 253, however,  the CS  was not                                                               
ready for  proposal.  She  noted that the  pertaining legislation                                                               
would be scheduled for an upcoming committee hearing.
