 ASSISTANCE/MED. CONDIT) before the committee.                                 
                                                                               
  SENATOR TAYLOR  moved the following amendment to HB 214:                     
                                                                               
 Amendment No. 1                                                             
                                                                               
 Page 1, line 8:  After the phrase "makes a false statement" insert            
      "in writing"                                                             
                                                                               
 Hearing no objection to the amendment,  VICE CHAIRMAN LEMAN  stated           
 the amendment was adopted.                                                    
                                                                               
  SENATOR TAYLOR  moved HB 214 and the accompanying Senate Rules               
 Committee amendment be approved for calendaring at the discretion             
 of the Chair.  Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
