CO-CHAIR  JOHN  COWDERY  convened   the  meeting  of  the  Senate                                                             
Transportation Standing Committee at  1:32 p.m. He announced that                                                               
the committee  would hear  an overview  of the  Alaska Railroad's                                                               
extension. The Yukon delegation was present.
