CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 12:07 p.m. Present were Senators Ellis, Miller, Leman, and
Chairman Kelly.
SENATOR LEMAN moved to calendar SB 52-LOCAL EXCHANGE TELEPHONE
SERVICE. SENATOR ELLIS objected. The motion to calendar SB 52
carried with Senators Leman, Miller, and Kelly voting "yea," and
Senator Ellis voting "nay."
SENATOR LEMAN moved to calendar SB 107-ABOLISH TOURISM MARKETING
COUNCIL. There being no objection, the motion carried.
SENATOR LEMAN moved to calendar SB 134-WELL REGULATORY COST
CHARGE/CONS. TAX. There being no objection, the motion carried.
SENATOR LEMAN moved to calendar SB 146-COM. FISH
LICENSE/FISHERMEN'S FUND. SENATOR ELLIS objected. The motion to
calendar SB 146 carried with Senators Leman, Miller, Pearce and
Kelly voting "yea," and Senator Ellis voting "nay."
There being no further business to come before the committee,
CHAIRMAN KELLY adjourned the meeting at 11:26 a.m.
