CHAIRMAN LEMAN called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 1:10 p.m., and noted the presence of Senators Taylor, Duncan,
Miller and Leman. He then requested calendaring motions on the
legislation before the committee.
SENATOR DUNCAN moved SB 154 (CHILD SUPPORT & PATERNITY) be approve
for calendaring at the discretion of the Chair. Hearing no
objection, it was so ordered.
SENATOR TAYLOR moved SCR 16 (NO INCREASE IN COST OF STATE
EMPLOYEES) be approved for calendaring at the discretion of the
Chair. SENATOR DUNCAN objected. There being no further
objections, the Chairman stated the calendaring motion carried on
a 3-1 vote.
SENATOR TAYLOR moved SB 114 (EMPLOYEES: POLITICAL CONTRIB &
