CHAIRMAN KELLY called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 10:52 a.m., and noted the presence of Senators Leman, Taylor and
Kelly.
CHAIRMAN KELLY brought SB 60 (ADVISORY VOTE ON CAPITAL PUNISHMENT)
before the committee. Hearing no discussion, he asked for the will
of the committee.
SENATOR TAYLOR moved SB 60 be approved for calendaring at the
discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
CHAIRMAN KELLY brought SB 63 (DEADLY WEAPON OFFENSES BY JUVENILES)
before the committee. Hearing no discussion, he asked for the will
of the committee.
SENATOR TAYLOR moved SB 63 be approved for calendaring at the
discretion of the Chair. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
