establishing the rights of victims of crimes.

Suspending Uniform Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e) of the Alaska
State Legislature concerning House Bill No. 269, relating to
credits against certain state taxes.

"An Act relating to credits against certain taxes for contributions
to certain public educational radio and television networks and
stations and to endowments for public educational radio and
television networks and stations, increasing the amounts that may
be claimed as credits against certain state taxes, and precluding
claims of the contributions as both credits and deductions against
the taxes; amending the manner of computing refunds to local
governments of the fisheries business tax and the fishery resource
landing tax; establishing credits against the fishery resource
landing tax; and terminating the public educational radio and
television credits authorized by this Act at the end of five years;
and providing for an effective date."

CHAIRMAN MILLER brought SB 270 (JUVENILE PROCEEDINGS) before the
committee. Hearing no discussion, he asked for the pleasure of the
committee.
SENATOR SHARP moved and asked unanimous consent SB 270 be approved
for calendaring. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
CHAIRMAN MILLER brought SSSJR 5 (CRIME VICTIMS RIGHTS CONSTIT
AMDMT) before the committee. Hearing no discussion, he asked for
the pleasure of the committee.

$25,000, be approved. Hearing no objection, the motion carried.
