CHAIRMAN MILLER called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to order
at 12:27 p.m.
CHAIRMAN MILLER brought SB 106 (NO MINORS WORK/ATTEND ADULT
BUSINESSES). There being no discussion, he asked for the will of
the committee.
SENATOR SALO moved and asked unanimous consent that SB 106 be
approved for calendaring. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
CHAIRMAN MILLER brought SSSB 27 (MISC. GRANDPARENT VISITATION
RIGHTS) before the committee. There being no discussion, he asked
for the will of the committee.
SENATOR SALO moved and asked unanimous consent that SSSB 27 be
approved for calendaring. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
CHAIRMAN MILLER brought SB 91 (CRIMINAL TRANSMISSION OF HIV) before
the committee. There being no discussion, he asked for the will of
the committee.
SENATOR SHARP moved and asked unanimous consent that SB 91 be
approved for calendaring. SENATOR SALO objected. The roll was
taken with the following result: Senators Pearce, Sharp & Miller
voted "Yea" and Senators Duncan and Salo voted "Nay." The Chairman
stated the motion carried.
CHAIRMAN MILLER brought HB 92 (EXTEND FOSTER CARE REVIEW PANEL)
before the committee. There being no discussion, he asked for the
will of the committee.
SENATOR SALO moved and asked unanimous consent that HB 92 be
approved for calendaring. Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.
There being no further business to come before the committee, the
meeting was adjourned at 12:34 p.m.
